Van & Storage will facilitate your office relocation with a minimum
of disruption and downtime. Our skilled project managers are proactive
and carefully plan for each and every relocation, and anticipate
problems and find solutions before the move takes place.
An in-depth physical survey is prepared for the customer by
visiting both sites and determining size and placement of elevators,
loading dock location, availability of entrances, and length of push
to/from the entrance at both locations. At point of origin a tally load
sheet is carefully filled out listing all furniture, file cabinets,
artwork, computers, business machines, stored records, and employee
personal effects. From this inventory an accurate and itemized moving
estimate is prepared for the customer. All our estimates are guaranteed
without hidden or additional charges after the job. Several days before each move our project managers will carefully study and mark your floor plans, and physically tag your furniture, computers, file cabinets and the corresponding areas at destination. This assures the proper placement of furnishings the day of the move. On the day of the move our staff will put masonite on the floors to protect carpeting and tile, and coroflex cardboard to protect doorways and walls. Furniture is blanketed and shrink wrapped, computers are bubble wrapped and stored in carpeted computer carts. All keyboards, mice and cabling are stored in special zip lock bags and travel with each computer. Transition to the new office is done expeditiously to diminish the disruption of business.
