Packing

Packing of fine china, crystal and glassware is done on site using special packing  materials including: soft cellulose paper, bubble pack and Styrofoam chips. For most pack jobs stemware and dishes are carefully wrapped with large sheets of cellulose paper to protect from scratching, movement and shock.

After wrapping, crystal and glassware are placed in special Cell Pak containers which use cardboard dividers to separate and nest each individually wrapped piece. Disk Pak containers with double thick cardboard walls are used for all dish packing to assure safe travel to the destination.

Books are packed in high strength cardboard book cartons, designed for weight but small enough(1.5 cu. ft.) to be easy to handle. Older and valuable books are separately wrapped in tissue paper before being boxed.
